Cast iron cookware is versatile and durable. Cook a steak, make cornbread, make a burger, a pork chop – it can be used to cook just about anything.
We love to use our cast iron when we are camping, it’s easy to clean up right over the campfire. Just boil water in the pan and deglaze with a wooden spoon to get the crunchy bits off (um, usually bacon or burgers) and BAM – easy peasy, really. And if a bear decides to come visit they are heavy enough to smack him if he gets too close 😉
